지금 그리고 그날
        -싸이판에 영혼이여!-
                                               
지금 여기

먼 수평선 너머

 

하얗게 하얗게

쌓여간 산호의 껍질같은

 

그리운 울음이 있었다.

 

썰물처럼 밀려가다

돌아 온 밀물처럼

 

늘 오늘이 그날같이

가슴에 묻어둔 애환들

 

여기 태평양의 심장

사이판의 어머니 마음으로

당신을 존경하며 위령했기에

 

이제야 놓아줘야지

자비를 나눔하며

 

떠오르는 태양

푸른 야자수 숲길

함께 웃으며 걸어가야지.

 

본래 하나 된

우리 이기에

beyond the distant horizon

White, white
Like piled up coral shells

There was a longing cry.

Ebb and flow
Like the returning tide

Always like today is that day
Joys and sorrows buried in your heart

Here in the heart of the Pacific
with the heart of Saipan’s mother
 respect  and pray for you

I have to let go now
sharing mercy

Rising sun
green palm tree forest road
let’s walk together smiling.
